Hexham Priory School

Hexham Priory School have made three visits to Highgreen with students.  Most recently, March 2017, a group of 20 sixth-formers and staff came up to explore the wild landscape and make art as part of their John Muir awards.

The students enjoyed the challenging walk to reach Khosro Adibi‘s sculptures on Black Crag on the fell opposite Highgreen – and the sculptures!

And in the afternoon, led by Khosro, they made marvellous mobiles and other artworks using pieces of drilled wood, plastic drainpipe, beads and fishing line.
